I have always had a particular soft spot for all things animal. As a child it wasn’t unusual for my parents to find me ushering worms back into the soil after a summer rain shower, or scavenging for a box and tissue to make a proper hospital for an injured bird. It only made sense that I pursue a career in veterinary medicine, where I could apply my affection for animals and my commitment to bettering their lives and the lives of the people that love them.
With over 20 years experience as a veterinary nurse, the majority of that time working in emergency and critical care, I began to wonder about how else I could help animals and their people. It is so often the case in emergency medicine, that people struggle to know what to do next, they want to make the best decision for their beloved pet, and are often left wishing for clarity that could only come through communication with their pet and the universe.
I picked up my first Tarot deck in 1996, that's right, after seeing The Craft (fellow Elder Millenials, you hear me)! At this time my Tarot practice was more of a hobby than a practice, but that deck sparked a life-long relationship with Tarot: a relationship that I have been growing, studying, and nurturing for thirty years. I view Tarot as a way to help us connect with our unconscious knowledge and deep connections. In my practice I utilize the insight of the Tarot as a guide and tool of reflection to support you (and your pet!) through your journey and to help you connect your consciousness to the infinite wisdom of the Universe.
As the Queen of Pups, I extend my practice to my personal life as well, where I love, spoil, and care for a tall (Sol the doberman), a small (Pearl the chihuahua), and a feline chonkette (Stink the cat).
